About the Artist

Kim Pearson

My interest in metal started in college with sculpture welding. I was fortunate enough to have a mentor that taught me to see the beauty in metal. He introduced me to jewelry making, and my passion for metal spread like wild fire.

I have been creating jewelry since 2005. I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree with an emphasis in jewelry design from Wingate University in North Carolina. Shortly after graduating i dove into a masters degree in education and began teaching metalsmithing at the high school level. Since then I have enjoyed raising my littles and running my business full time.

When I create jewelry I feel such a deep sense of who I am. Each piece represents who I am as a designer, some pieces are made with a story, others are designed around a stone with a story. I love to experiment with new techniques and I am always pushing for a greater understanding of this wonderful art.

I believe jewelry should be created with excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and design. I strive to do all these things and hope you will see that in my work. Thank you for supporting handmade products and my small business.
